Pros: Cisdem Duplicate Finder can accurately detect similar images on my Windows PC, even if their resolution or saturation has been changed, if they have been cropped, or if text has been added. The similarity of each detected image is displayed in the upper-right corner, which makes it easy to understand at a glance. In addition, the side-by-side preview of the found images makes comparison much easier.
Cons: Similar and duplicate images are listed on the same tab. Therefore, when there are too many duplicate images, I have to scroll down and manually select the similar images to delete. It would be better to display duplicate and similar images on separate tabs.
Overall: There are many modified images in the "Pictures" folder on my PC—more than 1,000. They hadn't been cleaned up for a long time and were taking up a lot of storage space, especially since the space on my local disk (C:) is limited. By chance, I came across a post on Reddit and decided to try the trial version of Cisdem Duplicate Finder. It successfully identified these images, and I then purchased the full version.
Pros: It's easy to use, and I really like the auto-selection rules. They help me quickly select all but one file in each group of duplicates for deletion.
Cons: At first, I didn't know how to scan my cloud drive for duplicates, but their customer support responded quickly and guided me through the process.

I bought the paid versions of this. This program helped me do HOURS of work in literally 3 clicks, 3 seconds. I had a ton of duplicated files, some even having multiple, but the duplicates were different file sizes and different resolution images, so all the other programs I tried weren't even detecting them as dupes. This program did. And it let me select the smaller versions of each file (leaving the largest of each), and I was able to delete over 2000 duplicates in a few clicks. WELL WORTH THE 20 BUCKS!
It works to scan my whole disk for different kinds of files, and then it brings you a list to select the files you'd like to delete. In addition to manually selecting, there is an option of "Smart select", you can directly select this option and Cisdem will help you to mark all the deleted files according to the preference settings. I choosed the "Smart Select", which is really fast and convenient to release space in a click.
Everything on my system (and it was a lot of massive 2 internal hard drives) were purged – Spent a whole day scanning one hard drive, and after reading about other app reviews that said they scanned and scanned, and finally finished, but when they hit delete it would crash completely with the huge file before deleting everything – having to restart the whole process again. This did not – It purged everything fast (1.6MM files scanned) Highly recommend this app! Great price too!
Did exactly what it claimed to. The only thing it could have done better was deleting the folders that contained duplicates as well or offer to merge them (not sure if that's actually possible). It would also be nice to set a default where you would like the remaining documents to go. I had started using iCloud drive which has been nice, but had caused documents to copy themselves about 5 times, because I misunderstood how it worked. Regardless, it turned a multiple hour job into about 10 minutes.

I've been struggling with duplicate photos and videos cluttering my Android phone, so I gave Cisdem Duplicate Finder a try. First of all, it is clean without ADs or prompts. It will scan my entire phone by default, I cannot select specific folders to scan, the scan is fast and accurate, so if you want to use it to scan your entire phone, it is a good choice.
Almost good app for duplicate files removing. This can be made the best app in the app list of Duplicate File Remover category. But this app is not removing duplicate files of WhatsApp. This is a shortcoming in this app. Please fix it as soon as possible. Currently, I am giving it a rating of four stars.

By default, Cisdem Duplicate Finder finds files that are exactly identical, regardless of their names. It ignores the name when it compares files, which is the way I prefer.

At startup it asks if you want to upgrade but only difference between the paid and the free version is the ability to trash files from within the program. Unfortunately all the photos I want to find duplicates of have nothing in common except the photo itself. Their names, time, size, and everything else differ. At the moment I have been using Cisdem Duplicate Finder because it looks at the image itself, but if I want to find all duplicate photos in a big library that only matches one particular photo I can't. It then gives me all the duplicates of all the photos in the library.

But note that some of them support Photos and some (such as dupeGuru, an open source duplicate file finder) don't. An app called Cisdem Duplicate Finder supports Photos. In addition to photos that are exactly the same (regardless their names), it finds photos that look the same but are different in formats, dimensions, file sizes or metadata. It can also find similar photos and the slightly edited versions of the same photo. You can use this app to scan your photo library.

I use Cisdem Duplicate Finder. It isn't a dedicated duplicate photo finder, but it does a good job of looking for duplicate pictures including those in the Photos library. There are other supported file types such as audios, videos, documents, spreadsheets and more. It can find exact duplicates as well as similar photos. Photos exactly the same in content, resolution and size will be identify as duplicate photos. If two photos look exactly the same but they have different size or resolution, they will be labeled as similar photos. You can use this duplicate file finder to find recolored, rotated, watermarked and other edited versions of the same photo. It's also able to find similar photos that are very slightly different.

I pointed Cisdem Duplicate Finder at my overloaded Photos library and an external drive at the same time, hit scan, and within a couple of minutes it had grouped everything.
