I needed a simple player that could handle MKV and other high-res formats without lag. VLC used to be my go-to, but it’s gotten bloated. Cisdem Video Player is refreshingly lightweight and just works! I threw a 4K HEVC file at it, and it played smoothly without any plugin drama. It even remembered where I left off when I reopened the file. Great job, Cisdem.

I was frustrated with Windows Media Player not playing certain file types. Cisdem Video Player opened everything — MOV, MP4, FLV, even rare formats like RMVB. I just drag and drop, and it starts immediately. It’s very intuitive. Would love to have a dark mode option though.

I tried several free video players on Windows 11, but many either crashed or didn’t support subtitles well. Cisdem Video Player opened all my MKV and MOV files instantly, with no lag and perfect subtitle syncing. It’s lightweight, simple, and just works right out of the box.

The built-in media player supports limited media formats on my Windows laptop. I gave Cisdem a try and it plays all files I throw at it, including MOV, AIV, MKV and large 4K files. Can't wait to recommend this player to everyone!

I used the free version, it plays the media files smoothly and can auto jump to the last time played location when you open it. The interface is intuitive, which is my favorite UI design. Perfectly adapt to all types of media files, a super good player!

It offers a free version and a paid version, to my surprise the free version is good enough for all my daily use. I think I would like to upgrade to the paid version when I have further needs, because I trust the paid version will be better.
